That new denim

Here is a first look in my new / vintage Levi's 569. With vintage Levi's it can be hard to find a pair that fits right and I have sure had my struggles. But lucky for me there is a local shop here in Gastown, Vancouver that has a great selection of all styles. The shop is called Hey Jude so if your in Vancouver I highly recommend you stopping by.

But there I learnt something I didn't know from one of the owners there. I told her that I had a hard time finding ones that fit right because I have bigger thighs so most of the time they end up looking just so not right and that's when she told me what I was missing. Most people think that the 501's are the ones that are going to be best because that's what you see most people wear but if you have bigger thighs like me then she told me that the 505's are the way to go for my body shape.

I was so happy to here this. And I had found a pair of 505's that were great but I happened to grab this pair of 569's as well and the fit of them was like no pair of jeans I have had before so I was so intrigued and knew I wanted them...which are the ones here in the photos.

I love the wide leg and the fact that they are so long I put a huge cuff on them on the bottom instead of cutting them off and I love it. So far I have loved wearing this jeans with ankle boots and simple black tops. Next time I want to try wearing them with the cuffs down and heels, hopefully it turns out the way I imagine in my head. Anyways, that's a little bit about them and I hope that you can find the right pair of Levi's for you as well. Please let me know what your favourite style is if you have any!!
