New year, New coat

Forever 21 coat and knit top / Frame jeans / Aritzia hat / H&M ankle boots / Aldo earrings / Monica Vinader ring / Louis Vuitton bag

Wow. This is my first post for 2017 (that's crazy to say) and what a whirl wind of a year it had been. From having knee surgery and being off work for 2 months, moving back to Vancouver, working at a job I hated to a job I really like, to trying to make sense of this life and finally being happy with everything at the moment. I can honestly say that now I have started 2017 with being happy and feeling content. That doesn't mean that everything is perfect (because nothing is) and that there aren't things that I would love to have and don't but that's all relative.

So 2017 is starting off with good vibes and a happy mind set which I think is all that matters, I have good feeling about this year and I am just glad to be where I am. I am also happy to have this coat in my life. I guess you could say this was a little present to myself. I have been wanting a really long coat for a while and I originally wanted a black one and found an amazing one at H&M but unfortunately not in my size so when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. It is slightly oversized which means it is a bit long in the arms, but that is okay. I wanted the coat to be comfortable to wear thick sweater underneath.

So this year is not only starting off to a great start mentally but also fashionably!!
