Thanksgiving

In Canada it is Thanksgiving weekend (the actual thanksgiving day being tomorrow) and I think this is one of the most cozy times of the year, Christmas obviously in first place but with the beautiful colours and the family and friends gathered, it is a close second.

It is a time to remember and be grateful for everything that we are thankful to have in our lives and though this should be something that we always do and remember, life is so busy and we tend to forget to always be thankful and show it through out the year.

So I wanted to give a little shout out to a few things I am thankful for.

• I'm thankful for planes that can take us to amazing places and bring us to family but also to take us away from home if we need to.
• I'm thankful for the scents of Vanilla, Cinnamon, Pine, all of the those smells and flavours during the magical Fall and Winter months that bring back good memories and makes it feel festive.
• I'm thankful for great friends and when I say great friends I mean the close ones that you can count on, the ones that you don't need to talk to but when you see them it's like you've never been apart.
• I'm thankful for parents that seem tough and annoying when your a teenager but when you grew up, you feel awful about the things you made them go through when all they want is the best for you. Without parents, we would be nothing!!!
• I'm thankful for the word Love. It is such a strong and powerful word. I am not afraid to tell my family and friends I love them and I mean it. Love is such a great feeling!!!

So please guys, be grateful everyday for your life. No one's life is perfect but remembering all the good you have and being thankful will give you a lifetime of happiness!!
