Mixing Materials and how to do it!!

Fall is the perfect time of year for layers obviously which makes it great for mixing materials and making your outfit pop. Like here I am wearing denim, leather, wool, cotton and suede. That is a lot of different materials but it makes each piece stand out on their own.

One great way to do this sort of look is when you are wearing all black, it helps so that you don't drown under a sea of black but rather you can see each item on their own. Obviously I am not wearing all black here but it works well with this look as well because each piece is very minimal, basic, nothing crazy going on.

As you know I love wearing all black outfits so creating a look that is all black well having each piece stand out makes for a even better look. I wanted to show you without wearing all black though so you could see what I mean. But now I hope that helps you with your all black looks because if you live in a place like me and its rainy and cold everyday, black is basically your go to so it helps to know how to wear them!!
