From Summer to Fall
Aritzia hat, knit top and shorts, Ray-Ban sunglasses, Old Navy sandals, Aldo earrings and Olivia & Joy bag
In most parts of the world, we go through this awkward Summer to Fall phase. This transition can be a tricky one, cause if you live in a place like Vancouver then you know that the weather is changing so rapidly through this period. One minute it is warm and humid and the next its cold, windy and rainy. So when I was doing a bit of a shopping haul recently I was trying to find good pieces that would be great for the transitioning weather. Two of them being this top and hat. The hat is more of just sometime for me that I have wanted for a long time and more of a fashion statement for fall and winter but the knit top is something that I though would be a great piece to add to my wardrobe for the season change.
So these are my reasons behind why I think that is a perfect piece for this season and actually for all seasons (maybe not summer unless it's a cold day). But anyways, here's why.
First: It's knit which is great for colder temperatures, second: it's sleeveless and I love that because it's perfect for right now when it's still warm sometimes and I am warm blooded I think, i get hot easy...but back to what I was saying, so the no sleeves still keeps me warm but not to hot. Third: I can easily layer this or not. I can wear it bare just like here or I can put a long sleeve underneath in the cold winter months if I'm cold. Fourth: It's cute!!!
So there are my reasoning and why I bought it and I think I can going to wear this piece a lot, very happy with it!! And I mean, it works for a more summer version of a fall look, I love this mix of shorts and sandals, with the top and hat, I love having fun with clothes!!!
BTW. My giveaway for the Racinne travel set ended and I have a winner. So this lucky person should watch out for an email from me!!
