Very Berry Smoothie
I try to be healthy in my daily diet but I do still tend to have things that aren't so great for me so lately I have been trying to be a bit better and started making more smoothies at home which I have really have enjoyed. Especially making smoothie bowls with yummy stuff on top is the best and eating it with a spoon. So the one I have been making at home is very simple either for breakfast or for a snack. I don't get crazy with ingredients and stay basic but that is my favourite and it's so good. So here is my recipe that I use and I never measure things, I just pour things in.
- A handful or so of frozen raspberries (or whatever frozen berries you have would work)
- 1 banana
- About a table spoon of hemp seeds
- And enough water to make it nice and smooth ( You could use juice or coconut water but I normally just use water)
You could also add chia seeds, honey (I sometimes do that) and if you use protein powder you could add that as well, but like I said I keep mine very simple but very delicious. So instead of adding chia seeds inside the smoothie, I like to add them on top, same with coconut flakes and other fruit like kiwis, strawberries, oranges...whatever you want!!! And Voila, thats it, then you just enjoy!!!
