Vancouver has it all. It is a city in a perfect location so that there is something for everyone. And if you are one for nature and animals then you will love it here. I live in the West End of Vancouver which is in the downtown core of Vancouver and it is also very close to Stanley Park where you will find Lost Lagoon, right in between the park and the apartment buildings. My boyfriend and I love coming here because there is so much to see and as you can tell by the photos, it's beautiful.

It can be so soothing to be able to get some peace and quite in the nature right in the city. We love walking around here in the evening, that is when the wildlife is the most active and they are all out and about. You can see tons of ducks and geese and they all have babies this time of year...so cute!!! As well as herons, swans, turtles, racoons and beavers. We have really been enjoying watching the beavers, they are so majestic I feel, I never ever saw them but when I finally figured out their schedule now I see them all the time and they are beautiful creatures.

If you are coming to Vancouver, I recommend an evening walk around lost lagoon (like around 7 p.m.) and you will find locals to help you spot the wildlife or maybe a racoon will pop up behind you but I am sure you will enjoy the beauty of this little piece of paradise in the heart of Vancouver.
