It is easy to get to get rooted in an area in the city which you live. You sometimes forget to take advantage of your time in that place to explore and discover hidden gems or the surrounding nature. Here in Vancouver or should I say the low mainland, we are very lucky to have a wide range of things to see and do some. We have ocean, mountains, farmland, tons of islands, snowboard, surf, wildlife, beaches, great shopping and more. We have a lot of offer and something for everyone here, whether your into fitness and health (which is huge here - yoga is a way of life out here) or sports or fashion, whatever it is, it is a great city to be.

For me I am lucky that literally the beach and ocean are right out my door step and I have a great view of them from my apartment. I also have everything I need in a 15 minute walking distance which is great but also means I tend to stick to this area and not venture out. I love the area I live in so it is fine but every time I live somewhere, I tend to not take advantage of my surrounding and do fun things and explore while I am live and then revet not doing those things. So whatever city or place you live in, go explore, see and do everything while you can.

On this day we did just that. We were taking a walk on our normal rout when my boyfriend had the idea of going to the North Shore so we hopped on the sea bus and went on our way. The sea bus brings you right to Lonsdale Quay which has a cute little marketplace. There is also restaurants, coffee shops and this beautiful pier which you can see in these photos. It is a great place to get a good view of the city and also maybe see some seals, we saw at least 3.
