Only denim jacket, Zara culottes and bag, UO t-shirt and sneakers and H&M sunglasses

Transitioning your outfit into Spring can be tricky, it's not warm enough to stop wearing a jacket but not cold enough for layers. So I though I would share my style tips for getting dressed during this time. The outfit I wore here is a good example of how to make that transition and look great while doing it.
  • Denim - Probably my favourite and most used pieces are my denim pieces. Yes, I wear denim year round but a nice blue denim is the perfect colour of denim to wear this season. Bringing out your denim jacket instead of heavy coats is much better.
  • Ankle length pants - Like I am wearing here switching out full length pants or jeans for a more cropped version is another great way to look more Spring appropriate and still keep warm. Culottes are my favourite version of that and you can find them in all sorts of styles, flowly ones like mine, denim or a more structured part. And they are super stylish and on trend.
  • Sunglasses - Nothing feels more summery then adding sunglasses to your outfit because it is so sunny. So with the sun coming out more, don't forget to bring out your sunglasses not only to protect your eyes but for added spring style.
  • Sandals - Also during this season I find it's great to bring out the sandals. Your feet won't be cold because it's not that cold and if your still wearing a jacket and jeans its a way to incorporate that more Spring vibe.
  • Less is more - Last but not least. Less really is more. Start wearing less make-up, less layers, less accessories. Keeping your outfit simple and more minimal will help create a more summery vibe.
