What to wear for Valentine's Day

I used to be the type that liked to dress up in the colours of the holidays but my style has evolved since then. Even though I still like to take the time to dress up for certain holidays and events, I like to do so in a more classic way and not cliche. So for Valentine's day I will not getting dressed in red or pink, no instead I will do it so more subtly. So I thought I would share what I would wear and some ideas for you as well.

1. Off the Shoulder - Off the shoulder tops are so in right now, you will see top bloggers like Harper & Harley and The Petti Coat baring their shoulders. They are so many style's out there and its a a way to bring a little sexy into your outfit.

2. Spanish flare - Another big spring trend is ruffles. So it's another sexy and feminine touch you can add. It doesn't have to be over the top either. This top I am wearing as a tiny ruffles at the top, which is a minimal and perfect way to add the trend to the outfit. 

3. Choker - Chokers are also a big deal at the moment and I am totally a fan. I don't know what it is but it is appealing and your man is going to go crazy for you and adding a choker with an off the shoulder top is just a win win. BONUS.

4. Heels - Whether you are wearing pants, a skirt or a dress adding a heel for your date is just another sexy detail. Making those legs look longer and leaner and lifting that tush. Why not spoil your date.

These ideas work for all and any style out there, if your a minimalist or maximalist, colourful or not. Using these tips will definitely add sex appeal to your look.
