Tofino Trip - February 2015 - Travel Diary

Last year during Valentine's we had a friend visiting from Denmark so the 3 of us took a trip to Tofino. I always meant to show you the pictures but never got the chance and well I think it is fitting to show you them today.

I really can't explain how much I love it there. It is such a relaxing, inspiring, beautiful place, a little piece of paradise. We had so much fun on that trip with our friend and showing him around. We took him to all of our favourite spots and let him see for himself why we love it so much. I will do a bigger post about Tofino later but for now here are some quick points as to why I love it there.

1. SURFING - Obvisously. I never knew you could surf in Canada until I heard of Tofino.
2. The drive there - Beautiful scenery and stops along the way.
3. Food - There are some of my favourite restaurants tucked away in this cute town.
4. Whale watching - Around there you can take tours out and see all kinds of wildlife.
5. Good Vibes - It is just a relaxing, peaceful and invigorating place to be.

When we went on this trip, we had a beautiful ferry ride, stopped to feed seals in Victoria, saw wild life and stunning landscapes through the mountains and then ended the journey in Tofino, one of the most stunning place's BC and Canada has to offer.

Vancouver Island has lots of hidden gems and this being one of them, so glad that it is so close. So not only is the surf amazing but the restaurants, trails, whale watching, this place has tons to offer, as you can tell, these pictures don't lie. So please all you travellers, adventurers, explores and locals, do make this one of your stops if you are in the area.
