Europe Trip Summer 2015 - In My Dreams - Brussels - Belgium

After Amsterdam, the next stop was Brussels, Belgium. We didn't really have much planned do to there so at first we just walked around but luckily we ended up stumbling upon some beautiful places.  First one being the Royal Palace of Brussels. Definitely one of the most beautiful building we saw there. After that we continued to walk and look for the The Comics Art Museum. Belgium is home to a lot of old comics that we know and love, like The Smurfs, Tin Tin, etc. But to be honest we were a bit disappointed with the museum at it didn't offer a lot on those classic comics but oh well, still good to see.

After that we walked around some more but had no idea where we were going or what to see but we found this really nice, cozy restaurant and the owner was so nice and helpful and gave us a list of things we should see. It was such a yummy lunch and such a great place, we were so grateful to that lady that helped us. So we followed her advice and found some amazing spots to see.

So we went to Grand Palace, Mont des Arts, Mannekin Pis, which is in the area where all the chocolate shops are so we obviously got ourselves some chocolate and a waffle (yum). Also that is where we got caught in a sudden storm. It was really hot that day and so in the evening all of a sudden the sky was dark and the wind started blowing like crazy and the rain poured down. We had to quickly take cover in a chocolate shop (luckily) and ate chocolate and waited it out. Pretty fun thinking back to it now. Anyways, we saw lots more and it was a great day in Brussels, it is such a beautiful city. I have more pictures, but there are still lots of photos to go through.

Next up outfit in Brussels then Bruges.

xoxo
