This was the last and most epic hike I had ever done. During these hikes I am always wondering when its going to end cause I am tired and not wanting to keep going up and even though I felt like that during this one, it was well worth it. It was very, very back country. We started at Lynn Canyon and walked our way on the Hanes Trail behind the mountains and around until we got to the back of Grouse Mountain and then hiked all the way up that. It was crazy and intense and felt like we were in the middle of no where with no body in sight, which was kind of scary but we were in such beauty and in the wild. There was one point before we had to start climbing up the back of the mountain where there was a huge opening and you were just surrounded but all these mountains and it was silent, green and beautiful, that was such a great moment and I will never forget the scenery from that view. Same with when we finally reach the top of the mountain and we were tired but when you looked out all you saw was tons of mountain tops and some had snow on them and it was just magical. Definitely worth the sweat and sore legs and scraps. To end the day we got to watch the Sunset from the top of the mountain headed home. It was a beautiful gondola ride down. So if you are up for a challenge and love hiking, I recommend this crazy amazing hike.

xoxo
