One Week

It is exactly 1 week till I am home in Manitoba. I use to start packing for trips like a month in advance but I have since learned my lesson. So I will start packing this weekend so that it is already already for me on Tuesday. Packing can be hard to do sometimes and I have always been the person to bring to much. I always think to myself..."well I might want to wear it" but actually last year when I took my trip to Denmark and Sweden I had to try to pack light. I was there for a month and had only 1 suitcase and a carry on and I knew I would be buying things. At first I thought it was going to be hard and I did still over pack but while I was there I ended up only using every few items and actually I ended up liking that better. I felt good to only wear the items I knew I really liked and was into, like my favorite shorts and tops. It really got me to realize that less is more. I felt better about how I looked and it was easy to just take the items I had and mix and match them and be done with it. So that really helped me with my wardrobe as I want it to be more basic and I think it will help me with my packing this time as well!!!!
