Summer Essentials - The linen pant

I want to take a few minutes to discuss these pants. I bought these pants last summer before my Europe trip and wore them while in Mont Saint Michel. But since then, never wore them. For some reason I was having a hard time styling them...but I finally figured it out and now I can't stop wearing them.

So now let me tell you why this is a summer staple, why you need it in your wardrobe now and how to wear it.

This is a summer staple piece because linen is a perfect material for summer, it is light weight, airy and feels great on the skin. Just the look of linen says summer. Also not everyday of summer are you wanting to wear shorts, you need alternatives to just denim shorts and these are the perfect solution.

This is why you need them in your wardrobe now, they are perfect to wear if you want to cover up your legs, or it is slightly cooler out and first and foremost....They are the most comfiest thing you can put on your body. Seriously I feel SO comfortable yet stylish when I put these on. It is a statement as well as a basic. You are going to look effortlessly flawless when you have these babies on.

Now on styling them. As I mentioned, when I first got them I had a hard time styling them and figuring out what to wear, but it's because I was trying them with the wrong type of top. My suggestion is to wear them with oversized tops, like the one I am wearing above. This is the perfect top to wear with this piece. One the silhouette matches the pants and looks great but also, I might add that because these linen pants are white and the material is light, these are a bit see through so wearing a longer top that hides your bum is what you want. But even though this look is a bit oversized and away from your body, it still looks great and like you have this whole summer fashion thing on lock!!!

Please please try out this look, I promise you that you will never want to take it off, it is the most comfortable and fashionable look for summer. 100%
