I loved Bruges. Such a cute old city. Beautiful building everywhere, completely different from Brussels though. Brussels seems more French and Bruges seems more Dutch. It seemed more small town, you could walk everywhere and everywhere you looked was an even more beautiful street.

We took a canal ride and it is definitely a must to do when you go to Bruges. Such a great way to see the city, my only complaint was that when we got on the boat we were with a huge French group and the guide only spoke French, I wish someone would have said that the tour wasn't in English. So we didn't learn anything on the boat ride but it was still nice.

For lunch we found a great place called Le Pain Quotidien, with lots of organic products, great sandwiches and treats. We found out after that there lots of these restaurants around the world so we actually found this place again in Paris, which was great. Definitely recommend this place if you are going to Bruges. It is not far from the main square.

I would definitely go back to Bruges, as it was so nice and beautiful. And if you have gone, leave a link with some photos, I would love to see or hear about your time there.

xoxo
