Amsterdam has to be my favourite place we went to. There was something about it, maybe it was because my expectations weren't to high because I really didn't know what it was going to be like but I fell in love with the city. We were only there for a day and a half unfortuntaly but I loved every minute of it. The houses, the canals, the people and parks were all so beautiful, it was hard to put down the camera. We arrived in the evening and as soon as we got to our hotel we went straight out.

Here is a little list of what we did while there.

- We took a walk through Vondelpark. Its such a big, beautiful park and had such a great energy with people everywhere, biking, running (very active people it seems) and friends gathered having fun. Defnitely recommend going to the park and just enjoy the atmosphere.

- Had dinner outside sitting by a canal. Obviously, this is a must while in Amsterdam.

- Walked around by the canals enjoying the beautiful building and then walked through the Red Light District. Quite an experience!

- The next morning we found and had breakfast at The Cold Pressed Juicery. So if you are looking for a raw, organic smoothie that is Instagram worthy, then you should go!

- We went to 2 museums, first the Van Gogh and then the Rijksmusem where you can also find the famous "I Amsterdam" (which you can see here)

- In between the museums, we had lunch which was a beautiful open faced sandwich at Restaurant Stedelijk.

- And we ended our time in Amsterdam by taking a canal tour. This is a must!

So if you plan on going to Amsterdam, maybe you can use this little break down of things we did to help you plan your trip. Yeah, so as you can tell, we really enjoyed every second and I can't wait to have an excuse to go back. Maybe I will just move there, you never know!!

xoxo
