The Art of Layering

During this time of year while it is transitioning from Winter to Spring there is that point between warm and cold and sometimes you don't need a jacket or coat anymore. That is when layering really coming into play. But it is not always easy to layer and you don't want to wear the same thing all the time. I myself am actually not much of a layerer (yes, I know that's not a word) but it really is necessary this time of year for me because I can never wait to take my jacket off. But I love experimenting and trying new ways of wearing my clothes, especially if you don't have a huge wardrobe then you have to try to be creative sometimes. I love the idea of pairing things that you might not think go together like this long sleeve crew dress and this oversized chunky v-neck sweater, but it works. I love the mix and the touch of gold and the awkwardness of the shoes with it. I really like how this outfit turned out.

So experiment, have fun and play around with your wardrobe and do some layering!!
